Choose a practice mode

Learn the rule, then revisit the weak spot.

Start with a diagnostic, target weak rules, take a broader mixed set, or use a 30-question exam-style practice session. The official New York exam has 20 questions; the longer practice mode is for coverage, not imitation.

What this set covers

New York rules, including its distinctive school-bus rule.

The state set covers simultaneous arrival, left turns, traffic circles, blocked intersections, emergency vehicles, Move Over, 100-foot signaling, U-turn visibility, parking near hydrants, school buses, phone use, headlights, railroads, and bicyclists.

Shared image questions use site-authored traffic-control diagrams based on public-domain FHWA MUTCD designs. New York-specific answers remain tied to the New York DMV manual.
